Rusted Folly

Today... today.. today.... first day of April

Back in my old days, people would care of the date 1st April. They tend to pull naughty prank on each other, tell lies that could make a girl cry and all that stuffs that I find pretty ridiculous if you put it in normal sense, 'Why would anyone fool another on this very day?' Seriously, where did the notion come from?
Can someone tell me?

However, now, things changed. Pranks are like.. a childish act to be done and people won't get cheated easily, we are more intelligent! I don't know you guys but me, I'm frigid. Lies, cheats and pranks cannot penetrate my fortress of the mind. For I utilise them as my everyday routine. Croc style!

Racist? Me? Please..

Have you ever heard of Russel Peters? Yes? No?
If you don't, let me give you a brief fact about him, he's a racist comedian. Plus, he's Indian but not an ordinary Indian, he's American. That's what makes him sooo good at telling his sarcastic jokes about Chinese, Blacks and even the Whites and I love em!

Having the love for racial jokes does not make me a racist, no no, I'm not one. But I have experienced what do they call 'racism-abuse' upon myself which I find it irritating up until now. In fact I would like to write it down here, just for self appeasement.

I was a boy, a naive boy who didn't know how cruel the world is in reality. Friends, I have some, multi-racial and multi-cultural, the tolerance was great. One day, one fateful day, I was excited coming to the kindergarten, with a new set of stationery, Ultraman edition. Every time even during class, I would be holding my Ultraman pencil since it's my first and I was craving for it dearly. During break, I went to a small playground inside the kindergarten compound and there was an Indian boy crying near the slide. Curiously approached him I did and asked,"Knape nangis ni?". He kept crying, ignoring me. I was confused yet agitated to ask him more(I don't deal pretty well with kids then). Later, a teacher, Indian of race came swiftly to the boy's aid and she asked him what happened. I did't know what the boy was whispering to her but what I know was, "Oh-boy..Hell's coming!". Abruptly, the teacher snatched my pencil, my Ultraman pencil from me and handed it over to that crying child which he stopped later with the face of utter rejoice. I was dumbfounded, flabbergasted and gobsmacked. "Jangan amik brg org, awk ni!", she scolded me afterward. What the heck? What the hECK?? Since when did I STOLE that boy's pencil and since when did it BELONGED to him? That was extremely racist man, she heard only from one side, which was of her own kin and I didn't know how to react, I was too immature to think that was 'racism-abuse' which I later realised over the years.

The moral is, don't be a racist. Malaysia is the land of tolerance; we live side by side. Therefore, why must we fight? It's a waste of breath, saliva and even manpower. So, lets hold hands and face the world together, shall we?

Love The Way You Are

Funny isn't it?
When you really like someone, you don't care how they look, how they act, how good or bad they are or how they present them to us and everyone else. Everything about them make your heart at peace and by thinking of them,it soothes your soul.

But it pains you when they don't take you as yourself, they needed something better and when they have found even one flaw on us, they would leave us to rot. I'm not saying that everyone is like that but that is just the typical notion that we can usually see going around everyday, at any time.

Humans are not perfect, to be perfect is only a myth. We make errors and some mistakes are not rectifiable in any sense as we have been created that way, and it's not our place to argue on that. If you don't like someone, just say it. Avoid future conflicts; break ups are the worst end that could possibly happen.

I digress on the fact that to love someone, you need to change yourself and be the person that is desired by the one you love. It's really not worth changing for and to find someone who like you, the way you are and can listen and care for you when you're in deep shit, is the best blessing that a human in love could get. Try that.

Make Me as Bad as Him

How I love delinquents..
Their dressings, manner of talking and their mindsets. They're all so fascinating like "Oh wow! People like that actually exist?" I didn't know maybe cause i'm too ignorant to know before or I'm with the good side of the society, probably?

To avoid confusion, I meant delinquent as in the manga (titled : Worst) which is believed to be fictional and it doesn't happen in Japan (hope it does). It amazes me on how explicitly the mangaka portrayed the life of delinquents, how the resolve their conflicts, all fists no weapons and the doctrine of never show one's back to the enemy had struck me hard as "I want to be just like them!". According to the comic, they fight just to show or prove that they're strong men, and their fear of imminent peril or death to come.

Spirit of Brotherhood has also succefully being emphasised in this comic. It promotes the spirit of teamwork; somone who stand alone will not succeed, he needs someone to cover his rear, left and right to be triumphant. And yes, I'm promoting the manga since I like it so much!

Alas, they are but a fantasy. To be realistic, who would wanna pick a fight everyday and becoming dumber every moment due to concussion from punches landed on your head. I've read too much comics, I hope there's no side effect upon my brain, or the virus has already leaked into it? Who knows? q(=_=)p

Own life, Own style, Lay Off!

Baju Melayu, OK!
Songkok, OK!
and jeans, not OK.. people will look down on me.

To hell with the allegations of those who wears clothes such as t-shirts and jeans is unislamic. People still do have that kind of thought, very boxedly of them, but not so many, I hope.

Most importantly, the aurah must be observed and not to expose the shape of one's body. Moreover, the clothes need to be in the state of Thuhur(Clean, and I mean really x2 clean). And voila! You can wear any clothes you want under these conditions. Now, stop the sharp glare to the guy wearing baju melayu and jeans reciting the Quran! He needs a break too ya know.

My thought, my own view, my worldview.
(Btw, this post is for guys)

What They Really Don't Know

"Hey, today's the 14th of February! You know what day is it dear?".
"No...".
"It's Valentines Day!!"
"Really?? Thanks for reminding me dear.."
"Let's enjoy the day to ignite our passionate love!"

These are normal conversations that you can hear from a couple, in Malaysia during the day that most people that are having relationships celebrate. The Valentine's Day. Yes, it's fun and all, you get good discounts at the Midvalley Megamall, The KLCC where they've made them to their shopping ports. However, they are ignorant about one thing, Valentine's Day in not a lovey-dovey occasion, it's a notion to place man in astray.

Valentine (so it seems) promotes to strengthening of relationships and what people really don't know, it sponsors close proximity and the feeling that is forbidden for one to have. Well, the real history behind the event is : it is the celebration for the priest St. Valentine and the defeat of a war in the days of the crusades where the Muslims were slaughtered. No offense but, it's the whole truth.

The point is, we need to re-educate ourselves. We are so damn ignorant of the history and it troubles me to find it to be twisted and re-phrased by diabolical minds in order to fit their own desires by constructing fabrications of the original story. I pray, seek the truth about everything. We tend to say that we know everything, yet, there are many things that we really don't know.

Do know that by blogging, you are being being put under surveillance by the Government? Go figure!

Yoga, What's Up?

Yeah, yoga. The world famous exercise of the indians back in their old eras.
The depiction of this activity is that it refers to traditional physical and mental disciplines. It has 6 branches according to the Hindu philosophy which I don't want to mention them here. The yoga is a type of meditation which supposedly to release the tense and stress for it's practitioners.

In the world today, people who practices exotic kind of exercises had plucked yoga into becoming their own as in changing the true purposes of the meditation; not following the branches of Hinduism and of mere exercise and so on. Basically, that is the arguement that have been used to be against the fatwa of the ulama' council to ban the yoga practice.

A fatwa is made not with a single mind or one sided thought which most people said it to be. According the Head of Directors of Jakim, Datuk Wan Mohd Sheikh Abdul Aziz, it was made due to considerations, not only from Jakim, but other local universities lecturers, professors which have analysed the matter beforehand. Thus, it's not a thing to be taken lightly, moreover for a muslim. But I guess it's quite sudden eh?

I've read an article in a local newspaper, of a journalist comment on the fatwa of haram-ing the Yoga. His opening was quite good, talking about understandings and stuffs but the next lines that has pissed me off the most. He's a muslim, and he did non-muslim rituals such as reciting hymns and playing with the 'colok'. Those plays are very dangerous as they can cancel our iman. Plus, he was talking about people should be understood and cannot be controlled by a single fatwa. What The Heck? The fatwa is only a reminder for muslims that the yoga practice may lead to dismay and disbelief. Whether people agrees on it or not, it's a different matter. People do afraid of the word Haram, Then why question so much?

Another thing, regarding on the Haramization of Al-khamr(wine) and pigs, it's already stated in the Al-Quran and is final, there's no reason behing it, just hikmaat for us to ponder upon. Easily said, everything is just a reminder, whether to follow or not, it's our own choice, the power that hath been bestowed upon us human by Allah is the power to choose. It's okay to just do what we like, the relation between us and god is solo mano anyway. My thoughts are to the better resolution of the yoga thingy but then the fatwa has popped out, so I sealed my lips and just go with the flow because I'm not an Islamic scholar, not a man of great 'ilm to argue more on this matter.

Well, that's a piece of my mind, maybe more, but just let them rest in my head..
for awhile..
